Record Box Loft is a historic wedding venue set on the river in its own corner of downtown Battle Creek. Just blocks from a new hotel, restaurants and bars, it’s a perfect place for events pulling guests from Chicago, the East side, Kalamazoo and South Central Michigan.
Because transparency and straight forward pricing is the first of many acts of service at Record Box, below is an overview of all the things we’re guessing you’re looking for right now.

Investment
Here’s our current rates for 2027 receptions at Record Box Loft. If your date is flexible, we have incentives for any remaining 2026 dates we think you might love! Inquire for more details including availability and rates for weekdays, holidays and 2028 weddings.
If you choose to have your ceremony here, there is an additional flat rate of $750 which includes full coordination of your ceremony and rehearsal.

Highlights
We try and stick away from the nickel-and-dime game as much possible to avoid surprises and unexpected stress during your wedding planning. Below is an overview of some of the key things that are included with our venue rental. The rentals we do offer are typically things you would likely need to do through another vendor anyway, so it’s less of an extra expense and more of a convenient option to help get more done at once.
Included Coordination
Service should never be an add-on. Full-coordination is included with every wedding. This begins with a planning meeting up to a year prior to your wedding during which we’ll help with your full day-of timeline, vendor recommendations, layout, bar package and help with your wedding design. We’ve got your full setup and teardown included and will help coordinate every step of your ceremony and reception.
No Flip
Beginning in 2027, we have enough space, tables and chairs to have your entire event setup done hours before your ceremony begins with no need to flip the space prior to your reception. That means your event is less of a production and more of a party, and the only thing you need to focus on is your people.
Hardwood Tables
We include a full collection of hardwood tables for your wedding reception which are a perfect compliment to our exposed brick walls. They feel just right! Plus you won’t have to rent linens which helps you invest a little more somewhere else in the wedding budget.
Everything Is Nearby
We’re walking distance from a beautiful new hotel and all the bars and restaurants in town which makes it a great place for your guests to spend the weekend. There’s also so many great photo locations nearby which you and your photographer will love!
